From: Nick K. Deuce, I almost didn't take that picture because I was at a bad angle and I was certain that you had it. The monogram is fairly huge and in plain sight from the highway, so I thought there was no way that you couldn't have seen it during one of your Burning Man odysseys. But I was stopped at the end of a 10 mile-long line to get across the dam, so I had nothing better to than play with my camera. |
ah, that explains why i didn't see it. i skip the dam part because of the traffic jams, taking 95 south instead. (well, except for the night and morning i actually spent *IN* boulder city. we won't mention it again.) I happen to live in downtown Tempe (sorry, I don't think that I can afford a house), (drat) so maybe I'll put together a collection of various 'A' paint jobs over the course of a school year. i thought it would be fun to mount a camera on one of the university towers and snap a photo every day of the A. but i suppose it will stay red, white, & blue for a while now, and if someone repaints it, they'll be wanted for "terrorism"... |
