Another Mountain Monogram (Valley View school, Elfrida).
Willcox Playa, a reminder of where I would usually be on Labor Day (Burning Man).
At one time there was talk of an alternate Burning Man to be held here. But I made an exploratory trip (during which I took this photo) and discovered that this playa, like so many very cool desert spots, was spoiled by the military, which loves to drop bombs on anything it doesn't understand. Unexploded ordnance (or, as the signs on Hwy 79 put it, "EXPLOSIVOS VIVOS!") is not to be taken lightly.
