While I had dinner with Elaine, Jean showed some of the wonders of Petaluma to Krishna and Tim. I met back up with them just in time to save Wagner from a life of dissipation and ruin.
As her fellow Petalumans passed, Jean flashed cryptic hand signals to them, the meaning of which was not clear to us, and may not have been clear to the passing Petalumans. At one point, Jean disappeared into a restaurant and two minutes after she emerged, a waitress came out and spoke to her about "preparations" for the "secret butter and egg ceremonies."
Despite the dark machinations of conspiring Petalumans, we managed to escape being press-ganged into butter and egg factory slavery. Doesn't mean it still couldn't happen.
