Tourists, thinking I had just happened upon this little tableau by chance, began to snap photos of it themselves, mistaking it all for part of The Show. The Show of Naturally Occurring, Not Typically Decorated With Dead Composers, Large Trees. |
| Muir Woods is run by the National Parks Service, so it's a little surprising that they haven't caused all the ancient trees to be uprooted and spirited away in the night. Perhaps this plan is on the back burner. |
