You could call this a tribute album except that:
(a) tribute albums usually suck
and
(b) it's so much more than a tribute album.
Kathy McCarty (formerly of Austin, Texas band Glass Eye and formerly sort-of girlfriend of Mr. Johnston) has put together audacious and moving interpretations of her favorite Daniel Johnston songs.
