I sure have an awful lot of dead people among my recommendations. The Gun Club's Jeffrey Lee Pierce is an especially sad case, because just as it appeared he had licked heroin for good, he died of a brain hemorrhage, the Damocles Sword of longtime heroin users.
This CD is hard to find -- it's a live show recording, and only a thousand were made (like the Purple Knif CD, I found it at a pawn shop). But any Gun Club CD purchase is a worthwhile one.
