We went off to Loma Linda University in search of the skeleton of Robert Wadlow, at one time the world's tallest human. I came out of the main building's restroom to find Daniel in a dead-end corridor. "Check it out," he said. "Verrochio." Hard to believe, but they had these masterpiece paintings just hanging on the walls outside the bathrooms! Weird. (Apologies for the mostly bad photos. If only I'd taken them all from the side . . .) |
