You'd think, if the Center of the World was in California, it'd be someplace logical--like El Centro, for example. Then again--if we're going to be logical about it--the Center of the World would have to be at the earth's core. But the Imperial County Board of Supervisors has fixed the Center of the World at Longitude 114° 45' 55.35" W; Latitude 32° 45' 1.38" N. And that's good enough for me. |
