I didn't get far. At mile marker 27 of SR95, Whip It! pulled the same trick. I hiked a mile to a call box & asked the operator to call Dennis & Dean. She asks for the number. What, no phone book? Nope. So I hike back to the car, get the number, & hike back to the call box. Dennis tells me not to worry & dispatches Shawn with another tow truck. I pass the time cleaning & regapping Whip It!'s spark plugs. |
