I asked one of the owners where they'd found this great old golf cart. "At the Salton Sea," she said--the very place I'd first heard of the Shady Dell. The next day we met the other owner, and when I showed him my photos of Bombay Beach, he was able to point out the trailers from which he'd salvaged parts (and even a couple of old lamps). |
