Start at the beginning

After everything else had been scooted, the phone booth in the living room remained. I did not want to explain this to prospective buyers. Unfortunately, a 500-pound phone booth requires more than two hands to be moved.

Another misfortune: the 40-ft.-long ocean cargo box at the new headquarters was more or less full, as you can see. It took the better part of a Thursday to rearrange things to make room for the booth, a fireproof cabinet, and a wood-burning stove donated by well-wishers. As to those extra hands, the logical choice had to be: The Five-Mile Men.
