Phonies
Gee, how kind of US West to offer to charge us for another "service" -- especially one that purports to give us "Privacy."
It would be nice if US West didn't force us to pay them extra $ in order for them NOT to publish our phone numbers. (Doesn't that sound a little like protection racketeering?)
And it would be nice if US West didn't allow people they term "unwanted callers" -- telemarketers -- to be listed as "PRIVATE NAME / PRIVATE NUMBER" on Caller ID units.
And it would be nice if US West didn't ALSO offer their diligent assistance to telemarketers.
Damned phone company whores wouldn't be half so annoying if they weren't hypocritical whores.
